Text | Post Moon-Warp [OTA with Action Option]
There were many guns and ammo with the raiders.
Bring them to me. If you found tools and cleaning supplies for them, bring them with you. I will inspect them. Repair them if it's possible. Show you how to care for them. I'll also trade ammo for the correct one for your weapon. I will show you how to use the weapon and handle it safely, provided you take it seriously.
You can also trade ammunition, guns, and parts you don't want for other electronics and items I gathered from the raiders.
[ There is also some minor details, such as where to find him in the Convoy, when he's willing to meet. Looks like he's commandeering one of the shop spaces in the second set of trains, though he doesn't appear to leave any 'stock' there. ]
That's all I have to say.
[ No name, no description of himself. If a person stops by the shop, be treated to the sight of a relatively new Drifter, pale skin, red eyes, dark hair and wrapped in a red cloak. He doesn't seem to have any physical signs of changes unless you count the ones he came in to the world as changes. Certainly possible. There are an assortment of firearms and ammo as well as several electronics, wires, random bits though they are almost certainly a sample of what he might have collected. ]

As an addition to this, for those who would prefer learning hands on violence, I can see to most forms of self defense instruction.
I believe I can also provide a reasonable workout for those who already know how to fight.

It's reminded of that now, as it reads the post. Maybe it should resent the 'nice suggestions to not fucking die' post, only it knows that repetition only makes humans ignore things.
It's actually moving closer towards the shop spaces - it's by one of the nooks that Jack turned into a sewing station, actually, but it doesn't go in just yet, instead lingering outside the caravan, leaning against a wall and staring balefully at its handheld as it decides whether a face-to-face confrontation is warranted. So instead it's just a mildly suspicious figure wearing utilitarian grey/blue clothes, wearing a not-at-all suspicious facemask.]
Provide certifications in weapon handling, ammunition handling and storage, and license for providing firearms training, including years of experience in all three.

It's fair in this case. And besides it gives him a good idea of what to expect from the shop space he decided to use. He probably won't be immediately aware of SecUnit's presence. It's outside and he's in. Vincent regards his own remote screen as the request scrolls past.
Some of it makes sense. The rest? What is he expected to have on hand? ]
Impossible for me to provide any physical proofs of certification and permits. Unless you're from my world, those may mean little in the context you're speaking about.
[ Was there even licenses for Turks? Would they even still be in date? Nuance. ]
I have over thirteen years of experience with firearms. I can demonstrate my skills.
no subject
It'll have to give up on this fight about firearms in human hands eventually, but for now:]
Skill demonstrations don't simulate live combat scenarios. A demonstration of safety protocols as designated by your training and a summary of curriculum are a start.
[Which is enough warning, before it decides to act - better to get this over with than to let someone unqualified by its evaluation collect a whole stockpile. (If it finds a projectile weapon that works for it in the meantime, even better). But that's enough to get it making its way inside the trailer, finally, scanning the space before its attention locks on Vincent - or more specifically, the array of materials he's collected, sweeping across both the dangerous and the harmless.]

action
There are some circumstances where a longer ranged weapon would be more useful than his demon's abilities.
When Serph arrives at the gun filled shop space, he nods in acknowledgement of the other drifter manning it.]
I'm after a gun.
[Since the radio announcement had mentioned trading, he adds-]
What will you take in exchange for one?
Re: action
That's going to depend on why you want a gun, how well you know it and what you have.
[ Even if he's willing to teach, Vincent is not so kind as to hand out guns to just anyone who comes asking. Or indeed, anyone who seems eager to learn but doesn't have the right mindset to respect the weapon for what it is. ]

Guns cover a range that my demon doesn't. [It gives him more options, basically.] I was made to handle such weaponry. Before I gained my demon, guns were how we fought.
[He's literally used them all his life. As for trade...]
Most of what I have is meat hunted from monsters. If you are in need of clothing or something made, I can ask my roommate.

Sounds good. On my way.
[ Oh thank god, easy to follow instructions. Kaidan shows up with both his assault rifle and his heavy pistol but wearing civvies he scavenged from the raiders. Ends up walking everywhere armored tends to frighten people. ] Hey, you around?
[Aaaaaaction]
Well, y'know, since.
So she's gonna go ahead and grab her new rifle- and also gather up her stockpile of ammo- various kinds, she wasn't picky about it, she figured he'd be good to sort it out- and head over to the shop he described in the message.
When she sees him, a few things are noticeable. First, that she's basically repurposed some empty cigarette cartons to hold the bullets, and in some cases the clips and magazines holding them, which she's now carrying with her. Second, and much more obvious- that she's no longer got the fur and the scorpion tail she had last time she saw him. Instead, she looks like a normal human, except pale, sunken, and vaguely corpse-like. She's also got a scarf tied tightly around her neck.
She does, however, crack a little bit of a smile when she sees him.]
Sup, Teach? Brought you some presents.
[She plops down the cartons full of bullets and bullet-adjacent accessories, none of which she kept track of or tried to label without guidance.]
Figure you can just keep whatever I'm not using, we'll call it even for the help.
OKAY I AM BACK IN ACTION
I suppose that means you're interested.
[ Vincent reaches out to help with the load. And... he's found bullets in worse places. If they're dry and 'better than nothing' Vincent won't really complain even if the cartons will be given a long study before being accepted and stacked nearby. It's probably worth noting there are makeshift boxes labeled precisely with various caliber designations; he'll probably be sorting them all later. ]
Have a seat.
[ Just to be clear the only seats are really on his side of the counter right now. Everything on the shopper side is 'standing room'. So he's clearly inviting her to come around to the shop side of things.
While Faith makes a decision on that, Vincent begins the task of gathering certain supplies. Namely the things needed for maintenance of the gun she seems to have adopted.
Appearance wise, everything he'd borne during their eventful trip through the desert and the raiders has seemingly vanished as if it weren't there. Well, unless you considered the deathly pale skin and red eyes a part of that transformation. ]
no subject
She eyes the labelled boxes and nods appreciatively.]
You got a pretty slick setup going here.
[She's entirely sincere, honestly. Having somebody who knows about this gun stuff and is willing to supply the convoy just makes sense.]

What are the best guns that you found? You have to show me!
WE COULD PUT ON A *GUN SHOW*
no subject
Haven't finished going through them.
There's not enough bullets to spare for a gun show unless you mean display only.
[ Might not be entirely true. There's a lot of bullets. But Vincent might be thinking that a gun show sounds suspiciously too much like more social than he wants to bother with. ]
Guns are also loud.
[ Just you know. As a reminder. There's monsters out there and securing a safe location for a fun time festival is not as easy here as it might be wherever either of them come from. ]
