Greetings, fellow convoy-ers. ...okay that didn't sound right ANYWAY-

I've been thinking we need better jammy-jams than whatever haunted soundtracks the Convoy decides to play for us, because even the worst of road trips needs some sort of music to help hold us over.

...of course since it's limited to whatever MP3s I've got on my phone, I hope that at least some of you have a taste for techno and eighties pop music. But if anyone else has happened to have some of their own music on hand, I will be happy to add it to the collection.

Ah, you say, but Donatello- how will we listen to your amazing tracklist? We've sorely neglected the localized radio network for other potentials- don't get me wrong, it's important getting the creepy messages whenever the thing picks them up, and yes, communication is a priority, but porque no las tres?

You are welcome to tune into the station, frequency seven-three-three-seven, at any time, barring any power outages of course.

Also, can't say I've ever been a fan of techno. More into rock than anything. Unfortunately, here? Beggers can't be choosers.

I know, not for everyone. I might have some rock but mixed in from the eighties stuff though...

Hmm, turns out I have a folder of my some of my brothers' favorites as well. So we have a range of sixties soul, seventies glam rock and some nineties hip-hop.

[Sorry, he has no appreciation for techno. At least pop has words to it. But the concept of there being other 'noise' accompanying lyrics is an entirely new concept to him.]

I'd love to hook you up, brother, but that'd require having audio books to play, and I don't think I have nearly as many of those on my phone. But if we did, I think I can set something up in someone's vehicle pretty easily.

An easy fix, my friend. Just come by the Turtle Tank and I can take care of that, no problem. Jazz is kind of on the opposite end of my tastes but I might be surprised. And it'll be good to have some variety.

EDM, yes. I might have some punk....mmmmmaybe some "Emo", depending on the overall sound.

Oh no, that's understandable. Would've been cool, and not like anyone's figured 'oh hey, on the off chance I get abducted from my world I want to at least have a fitting playlist.'

...for the record I did not, I just like having things available on my phone. And having my phone available.

I don't think I'd really...realized how much I've missed being able to listen to music, until right now. It used to be my thing. Like, for my undergrad thesis and grad school stuff. I did research.

That's great! I don't know if I can listen while driving my bike but having something when we're stopped will be good.

Hmm, good point. I mean, you probably could listen while on the bike but the sound might get washed out, and playing it too loudly might draw unwanted attention. ...not that a giant group of vehicles traveling together doesn't already do that.

That's okay, though. The wind is a soundtrack anyway, and sometimes its like a pleasant silence. Well, not really silent but...sort of close.
