Nope, still got my human ears. The new ones are on top of my head, and you're right. My hearing's been improving since they showed up.

[It's been a little disorienting getting accustomed to a much sharper sense of hearing, and being around so many running engines has been harder to deal with, but already Yang is more aware of the differences in sound each engine produces. That's going to be useful.]

Two sets of ears would expand your hearing range considerably. Honestly, I've often pondered the logistics of anime and manga characters given animal ears and their original ears, but illustrations and reality are significantly different beasts.
