I've been considering the merits of establishing a library, within one of the rooms on the Convoy.

Is anyone opposed? Or, are there any books people arrived with that they are comfortable donating?

[Like the digital storage the Convoy contains, physical books are valuable.]

You mean setting up a terminal, not converting it to physical media.

[Having cameras in its eyes means it can run a background algorithm to digitize it, given appropriate footage, but it doesn't have the means to do the reverse. Or the inclination, honestly. Physical media can get lost or destroyed. If its media archives are destroyed, then... let's be real it's probably dead.]

We would need to resume our search for writing materials, to make one kind of physical copy. Videos would need to become transcripts, and so on.

[Though if some digital audio files don't already have captions, it may be a service in and of itself to provide them...]

It is more straightforward to reproduce the physical digitally, than the reverse.
