Soooo.... Has anyone else bothered to try tapping into the creepy networks around here outside of the Convoy one? Then again I guess there's very little around here that isn't creepy.

Actually I wouldn't recommend it given it starts messing with things pretty bad. Not nearly enough to damage a computer system, thankfully, but I had to do a hard reset to clear out the screen. Kind of glad I didn't try it with my own computer- I mean, my firewalls and security are top-notch but I don't think what's coming through is...normal.

[One can practically picture the look of distaste as he says it. Ugh he hates this place.]

And those tiny screen talisman things are cute but I don't know if their dying message is something to be concerned about.

Of course! As well as music and a few movies. Of course some of the games are network-reliant so I may have to find a work around to get them to load. Not a big issue, just an extra step.

Isn't that the worst thing ever? Games should be built with single player, and offline play in mind. Not everyone has an internet connection all the time.

...Okay. Point taken there. I'd rather deal with a spooky ghost haunting my game looking for friendship.

So very true, but then that's what makes classics so appealing. Alas, I doubt that we'll come across a place with an old shopping mall and a working arcade but one can hope.

I have watched a lot of cartoons, and read a lot of comics.

Look we shouldn't learn everything from it. But there are some good lessons to aspire to.

And it would be really nice if we ran into a friendly ghost instead of a mean one.

Hey, my brothers and I learned almost everything we know about fighting from movies, and that's because it was our father starring in them. He was a famous martial artist film star, you know.

I do have to agree that friendly ghosts would be more preferable to hostile ones.
