There were many guns and ammo with the raiders.
Bring them to me. If you found tools and cleaning supplies for them, bring them with you. I will inspect them. Repair them if it's possible. Show you how to care for them. I'll also trade ammo for the correct one for your weapon. I will show you how to use the weapon and handle it safely, provided you take it seriously.
You can also trade ammunition, guns, and parts you don't want for other electronics and items I gathered from the raiders.
[ There is also some minor details, such as where to find him in the Convoy, when he's willing to meet. Looks like he's commandeering one of the shop spaces in the second set of trains, though he doesn't appear to leave any 'stock' there. ]

He doesn't seem to have any physical signs of changes unless you count the ones he came in to the world as changes. Certainly possible. Hrmph. The way things are is more reason to do the minimum.
[ And they had some supplies. The flat statement is probably not directed at the raiders though; but as a warning to Faith. A gun that isn't kept maintained can misfire, break or cause blow back that harms the wielder. Complacency can be fatal.
...There is a flicker of confusion in his gaze momentarily but the pop culture reference is contextual (unlike a certain future one). Vincent doesn't grade on a curve. But... a sigh. ]
Brainwashing, probably. Fanatics would know they need to maintain their weapons for the sake of their crusade.
[ He leans forward and checks Faith's work once the gun is reassembled. Disassembly, check for the condition, reassembly. This had been a cleaning. But as he puts the gun before her and pushes the tools to one side... ]
