In the interest of clarity for new arrivals, myself among them, I have a few questions that may seem blatantly obvious to everyone who's been here longer.

Am I understanding correctly that many of us here are being transformed into something else, much like the rain's temporary effects had on us recently?

Is this likely to happen to everyone?

Does it have anything to do with the brands we have been given? 'Runes'

Does anyone know how to repair a broken driver's side window for a M939 truck?

Finally, if you are obviously nonhuman, changed or naturally so, please leave a note as to what you look like so I know you are considered an ally and not an active threat.

Given the creatures that attacked in the storm, and earlier messages suggesting they may have once 'been like us', I do not wish to make a mistake.

Some. That some of it involves apparently still being part of the bombardment phase of a lunar breakup doesn't bode well.

Yes. Everything to do with a moon is likely going to be 'lunar' aside from certain moths.

It may have broken up relatively recently geologically speaking, and is still raining down pieces.

Worrying about a big chunk of the moon falling on us is bad enough. I guess it's a no-brainer that whatever caused that's probably responsible for all the messed up stuff down here, right?

Chances are high it is beyond my education levels. There may be those here who are, however, astrophysicists or scientists, or specialists in magical transformations.

Most else so far is "pretty convenient".

A foreign planet, but the air is still breatheable, the food edible, the vehicles recognizable and sized specifically for human use; we can read the writing, we can understand the language spoken on the radio.

You are not as yet an unnatural creature, though it seems this planet intends to change that. Don't believe every rumor you hear about SOLDIER, most of it is pure propaganda to frighten opponents.

Angeal believed our bonds to each other helps maintain our humanity, instead of becoming the organic killing machines Shinra desired. I don't see why it shouldn't work here, even if the risk is fangs and talons instead of metaphor.

You should seek allies amongst the convoy.
