If we're thorough enough, we might be able to use the stars to navigate.

For what it's worth, I understand the grief that comes with such a devastating loss.

Hmm... I think a lot of people do. Even if a lot of other people don't realize that.

[ Hell, Sonic had managed to talk him down from blowing up the world just by empathizing with him, and Sonic's situation seems like it was just as strange as Shadow's. ]

True, though not everyone is changed by that grief. Some are better at keeping their heads above water.

Some people withstand their hardships without breaking. They find it in them to help others, rather than losing themselves to revenge.

How they do it remains a mystery to me.

I know that. Some people are strong enough for that.

But to not change at all...?

I suppose change is inevitable. Stagnation... well, I certainly wouldn't want to remain in stasis.
