You were in a military? [That's what the word rations would seem to imply, and he thinks this is the voice he heard talking about a "second great war" in a previous radio communication.]

I've served in a few, myself. The Trade Federation Droid Army, the Separatist Droid Army, the Alliance Military, the New Republic Military, those two were kind of the same thing, and recently the Resistance.

I don't know any of those. I was only ever in the Eastern Union's army.

Right. You're probably from one of those Earths. [He sounds almost disdainful, the way he says it. He's not sure why out of all the places presumably in the multiverse, everyone except him seems to be from twenty versions of the same planet. He'd like to see more people from his own galaxy's past, its future, its what-ifs. Perhaps most importantly he wishes people were here from his present.]
